How do I book a shoot?
Message me on any social media platform (links at the very bottom of the page) or email! You can easily message/email me using the contact page!
How many images will I get?
However many I get! Usually, I give around 40 per half hour for family shoots. For weddings, I haven't given back less than 60 per hour.
What time do sessions take place?
The hour before sunset (golden hour) is the absolute BEST time of day to get photos for any session! Mornings can be better for children since the early morning light is lovely and children are well rested! That being said, we can do photos really at any time that works
for you.
Where does the photo session take place?
This is really up to you! A park, your home, anywhere that is special for you, or I can choose somewhere if you don't have an idea!
What happens if the weather is bad?
I will communicate with you on the day. If it's rainy, we will watch...overcast days are actually some of the best for pictures though! If you would like to reschedule for any reason (too hot or cold or rainy), we can make that work!
Do you take traditional posed shots?
Yes, I will spend some time taking some portraits of you together as a family since these are important for you as well. However, I spend a lot more time letting action happening and prompting you for more natural moments and capturing them as they unfold.
How do I view photos after the session?
After your shoot, your photos will be available for viewing/downloading in a private online gallery. For a small extra cost, I can do a USB drive for you!
What do I wear?
Exactly what you like! You can contact me after booking your shoot and I can send you my color palette sheet and some tips! Avoiding logos and stripes is preferable!
Do you offer payment plans?
Currently, I do not. It is in progress at the moment.
What payment methods are available?
I take cash, Venmo, cash app, PayPal, or Zelle.
What is your typical timeline for getting photos back?
My goal is 1-2 weeks for family or smaller sessions. For weddings, it usually takes about a month.
Should we bring anything to the session?
It's great if you can bring along some of your child's favorite toys, games, balls, books, bubbles – anything that you enjoy doing together as a family. Also, feel free to bring any small detail pieces that you want included. I love getting all the little details, so jewelry, wedding or birthday invitations, etc.
